Convoy Home
Our soldiers didn't join the military to get rich. Whether they serve
on land, at sea, or in the air, they answered the call to serve their
country.Their selfless contributions to our security, freedom, and the
safety of America cannot be measured. Their only job is to keep the
rest of us safe and secure, living in freedom, the American Way.
Many of our men and women in uniform do not have the supplies necessary
to keep themselves clean, comfortable, or to stay in contact. Often
times they cannot afford the simple luxury of calling their families
at home to tell them they are safe or to see how things are going. While
serving in foreign countries, resources can at times be very limited
or delayed. Soldiers often face shortages of basic needs items such
as deodorant, hand wipes, q-tips, etc. Whatever they were able to pack
on their own is often what they will have until supplies are replenished.
The goal of Convoy Home is to help our serving brothers,
sisters, children, grandchildren, mothers, and fathers who have been
so brave in protecting their country. We will do this by supplying them
with simple yet sought after supplies and comforts that we often take
for granted.
Convoy Home is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that
is dedicated to our soldiers overseas. With the help of your donations
we are able to provide these men and women with such basic need items.
Starting with tools for communication we supply them with pre-paid calling
cards and supplies for letter writing. Often times the voice of a loved
one can keep those abroad and their families at home, strong and motivated.
To keep them comfortable we offer the various hygiene items that are
often hard to come by or unavailable. For those long nights so far away
from home and family, we are able to make different games, books, and
personal electronic devices available for entertainment purposes.
Your support of Convoy Home will make a huge difference
in the lives of those that seek to keep our lives safe. Convoy
Home is here to remind us all that although we are far apart,
our hearts will remain together.
